Taylor Bolin Koonce is the owner and operator of Ausome Adaptive, LLC and is from Wichita Falls, Texas.
Taylor received her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and Master of Education in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
After graduating with her bachelor degrees, she began interning for High Point Village, a nonprofit dedicated to enriching the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Not long after beginning her internship, she knew she had found her passion and decided to pursue a Masters in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism.
While in graduate school, she began working at High Point Village and there created and carried out lessons in life skills, social skills, reading comprehension, money management, and much more.She also carried out numerous behavioral interventions, created personalized visuals, and even created her own adaptive fitness program that is still used at High Point Village today.
After graduating with her Masters, she moved back to Wichita Falls and opened her own small business called Ausome Adaptive. The name 'Ausome Adaptive', originated from her concentration in her graduate studies, autism, and from the individuals who participated in her first adaptive program who described the program as 'awesome!'.
Taylor believes every person has the ability to be an Allstar, which is why she refers to the people who participate in her program as Allstars.
The group of 'Villagers' from High Point Village that are the inspiration behind everything she does today.
Taylor spends her spare time with her husband, Aaron, and with her two French bulldogs, Maddox the Mischievous and Wrecking Havoc #BolinBullyBoys.
She is recently a new home owner and has found a love for gardening and home decor. She finds joy in DIY projects and helping others with their DIY projects.
When she isn't working on a project, you can find her playing video games or watching Harry Potter or Game of Thrones.
